Detained socialite, Ramon Abbas, popularly often called Hushpuppi, has been scheduled for sentencing on February 14, 2022, for his alleged involvement in web fraud, cash laundering, amongst others.
The USA Attorney’s Office on the Central District of California disclosed this in an announcement on Tuesday, January 25, in keeping with Neusroom.
That is coming practically two years after his arrest and detention in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates and Los Angeles in the US.
Court documents unsealed last July indicated that Hushpuppi may face up to 20 years in jail, a 3-year interval of supervised launch; and might want to “pay full restitution to the victim(s).
The 37-year-old pleaded responsible on April 20, 2021 and this was reportedly confirmed by the U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday.
